The quest to find the tastiest chili oil began in my own kitchen. From wandering the isles of groceries in Chinatown to watching videos of everyday folks making their own, I set off trying my own recipe by patching together my research. The goal: impress my mom—and after—to share it with those who desire that warm taste of home.
This project not only taught me how to grow my own hot peppers, but the process of making a value-added product.
